Stud partitions or stud walls are one of the cheapest and quickest ways of building internal walls. Note this are non load bearing walls.
Looking to fit out an office or divide rooms in existing or new home. Stud walls are the main method of achieving this. Usually use of timber 4×2 or 4×3 is used for the frame and plasterboard is then screw fixed onto the studs. Metal studs can also be used.
12.5mm plain slab plasterboard is ideal for this job. There is also slabs that could be used along with insulation depending on the use of the space.
For additional storage space for materials within an office a simple plain slab on stud work is quick and quick. Install a frame and a standard door to complete the storage area.
